Why Spirit Driven Marketing?

By Emma on March 4, 2011 No Comments

Why did I decide to incorporate Spirit Driven Marketing as one of my many client offerings?

My answer is quite simple…  Because I believe that there are so many business owners out there who are lost, spinning their wheels, experimenting with technology, yet remain to be broke, disheartened and discouraged.  They feel that they’re only one course or one mentor away from success where in fact it takes so much more than that for real long term success… there has to be a complete connection between MIND, BODY AND SPIRIT… Yes, spirit.   To think that success simply lies in learning the latest and greatest in marketing strategies is such a fallacy and is a big trap for failure.

When I started in my quest for online marketing success, I had a burning desire to reach out to the believers in the marketplace.  Those who truly believe they are called for a higher purpose, yet are doubtful that they will ever get there because for one reason or another, they remain stuck and couldn’t seem to move forward to experience success in their business.

However, as continued to seek new knowledge, that burning desire was simply set aside to make room for new knowledge, new relationships and more expanded opportunities.

Through all my successes there has always been a nudging… a question being asked from my Spirit… “When are you going back to the purpose I called you for?”

My brief story…

In 2006, at a business conference for my direct sales organization, I “met” God…  Honestly, I thought I already knew him since I was raised in a Catholic home and went to a Catholic University.  It wasn’t until this business conference where I truly felt the power of God over me… I flew to St. Augustine, FL to find out more how I can grow my business but instead, what I received that weekend turned my life around!

I realized that God had a huge plan for me in the business world… something I never thought even existed! Why would God even call people in the business world?  I was so totally clueless!  All I knew was that I had a passion to serve and help people.  I had no idea that God would call me to encourage, empower and equip entrepreneurs!

That year was the beginning of the many joyful and painful awakenings.  It was so interesting to see how when God calls us to something that is far beyond what we can see, there are challenges and consistent tests.  It’s part of removing that dross, akin to purifying silver.  Only when those impurities are gone that he can do His perfect work!

In 2008, I met an amazing lady, Dani Johnson. I found her online and I especially loved her teachings on “Conquering The Financial Kingdom”.

I don’t know about you but nobody taught me about money and how to manage money.  As an immigrant from Manila, Philippines, my life in the US was so exciting as I have access to anything for as long as I have my credit cards!  Mortgage on a million dollar home? Sure! Why not?  Driving brand new cars? Piece of cake… Designer everything?  Who wouldn’t?

It was only after I realized that we were playing catch up with our finances that I fell right into a trap… a big lie…

Life is not about keeping up with the Joneses because…

MOST OF THE JONESES ARE BROKE!

I realized that if I continue to follow the Joneses, I too will become broke!

It was Dani Johnson’s teachings that truly woke us up from deep slumber.  God’s calling in my life was even more magnified when Dani herself called my husband and I on stage as she did her Spiritual Equipping one Saturday evening and that’s when she prophesied over our lives and appointed us to be one of the “Kings In The Marketplace”.  (I have the MP3 file of the actual anointing for those who are interested to hear it…)

You know what’s interesting?  I just recently unearthed that MP3, to listen to it… I listened to it over and over and it left me weeping… that left me deeply humbled that to realize that my simple life was actually available to be used in mightier ways!

Do you want to know what Dani prophesied over my life that Saturday night, on Jan. 19, 2008?    I – N – F – L – U – E – N – C – E !!!

Now it’s perfectly clear why I am passionate about connecting with industry leaders, increasing my circle of influence and teaching others to do the same and bring them with me and connect them with powerful leaders and with each other as they too become influential leaders!

For 2 years, I sought wisdom, paid thousands of dollars more into investing in myself, desiring to learn as much as I can in the shortest amount of time so I can quickly teach others what they can do so they too can fulfill their God ordained purpose.

Aside from being mentored by Dani Johnson and Joyce Meyer, it was during this time when God continued to lead me to the most amazing and most successful leaders, marketers and mentors in the world – Joel Bauer, Mari Smith, Mike Klingler, Mike Dillard, Mike Koenigs, Chris Brogan, Jorge Bueno, Ruth Klein, Ann Sieg, Kathleen Ronald, and Jerry Chen…. these are my mentors who have now become my Trusted Advisors. They taught me so much of what I know in marketing and spiritual development and now I can transfer that priceless knowledge to you.

I absolutely believe that everyone was born with and for a purpose but…

IT’S UP TO US TO SEEK IT SO WE CAN FIND IT!

In 2009, while attending a live event in San Diego, I woke up at 4:30 am in my hotel room and was led to craft my life’s mission which remains true to this day:

“To live a life on purpose
and help others find theirs…

To always reflect God’s love in
my life and be a light on a hill for others
to see…

To bring hope to the hopeless…

To become unbelievably blessed so
I can become a blessing”

It was also that morning when The Relational Marketer was born and the goal for The Relational Marketer was to Encourage, Empower and Equip Entrepreneurs, especially those who too are called to be “Kings In The Marketplace”.

What are Kings In The Marketplace, you might ask?

Well, in Biblical Times, there were Kings and there were Priests…

In Dani Johnson’s book, Spirit Driven Success, here’s what she wrote about Marketplace Kings:

“Who has the influence? The kings.  This is the way it works in the Bible. You see, the priests served the kings not the other way around.  The priests served the kings.  The priests were the ones, through relationship with that king, relationship with God, would hear from God and would bring direction and  a message to the king .  So who had the voice with the people? The king.

The king was the voice box to the people, not the priest.  The same is true today.

The priest is supposed to – the pastor, the minister – is supposed to influence the king, raise him up, give him Godly advice, give him good direction, that they would be a light on a hill, and that they turn to their place of influence and they shout from the mountain tops the direction from Almighty God. The kings have the influence in the marketplace.

Who’s at the head of the Internet? The kings.  Who’s the head of books?  The Kings.  Who’s at the head of everything that I just mentioned, movies, music, all of it? Kings.  They are leaders.  Leaders are dominating the marketplace, and God is looking for a peculiar people that want to run with Him, that want to take the cities by storm.  He wants a peculiar people that His anointing will be on for business, because business is one of the chief influencers in our cities and in the world today.”

It was Dani Johnson and her book Spirit Driven Success that has inspired me to help you become a Spirit Driven Marketer.  If you haven’t read Spirit Driven Success, grab a copy now and find out for yourself why it has become a bestselling book!

I love marketing.  God has definitely gifted me with the desire to learn the latest and greatest in technology so I can learn and teach others how they can save themselves years of frustration and learning.  It has become my passion to help business owners and entrepreneurs who are struggling to make sense of online marketing and technology and take them from CONFUSION TO CLARITY.

Will You Still Use Facebook If You’re No Longer In Business?

By Emma on November 18, 2010 4 Comments

I was driving home from Garrett’s school this morning and thought about how much fun my little interaction with powerful women industry leaders, Ann Sieg, Rachel Jackson, Deborah Tutnauer and Jackie Ulmer was last night.  We were talking about our “work out music” and all of a sudden there’s this burst of nostalgia from the “King of Pop”, Michael Jackson all the way to Backstreet Boys, New Kids on the Block and even Tom Petty!

Funny, we weren’t there anywhere near each other but I felt a bond with these amazing women entrepreneurs!  In one thread we covered business, work out music, Merlot and popcorn…

Two weeks or so ago, another “virtual thread party” happened when at 1am, I posted a comment on my friend Jorge Bueno’s Wall and all of a sudden, I see my other good friend Jerry Chen chime in… I followed Jerry’s activities for that night and saw that he was also commenting on a thread with industry leader, Mike Klingler.  I chimed in and in no time, the amazing Diane Hochman was also replying to the thread and it really felt like a virtual party!

I just absolutely love these leaders I mentioned on this note!  It made me wonder this morning, where else would you find such the opportunity to socialize and really have fun, at the same time connecting with people who in the past were just “public images”… icons or legends if you will…

The proper connection with social media truly enables ANYONE to reach people they wouldn’t have been able to reach before!  You have the resources right there in your hands and it’s just a matter of you really making a commitment to create that connection if it’s important enough for you.

This morning, as I reminisced those great times, I wondered to myself… “Will I keep on Facebook-ing and Tweeting if I decide to no longer be in business?”  It’s almost like the question of “Which came first, the chicken or the egg?”

Most people start on Facebook with the intent of re-connecting with friends and families but find themselves inspired by the entrepreneurial movement and they start checking into the possibility of creating an online business.

Some, they start on Facebook with the intent of generating leads or getting visibility for their business and they end up creating relationships that are sometimes more priceless than what they have offline.

There is a degree of social acceptance that makes Facebook and Twitter so “addicting” if you will.

For the past 2 years, social media has been an integral part of my life that my day is really not complete without it!

I use my Facebook and Twitter for both business and personal because I thrive in the opportunity to be able to Encourage, Empower and Engage someone.  That for me is the essence of Relational Marketing.

Social Media has allowed me to build and forge incredible relationships that I will cherish even if someday I decide to no longer be in business.

Social media has made the world so much smaller, that as long as there’s internet connection, you can use it to make a positive difference in someone’s life anywhere in the world!

Start using social media wisely and with the right intentions and it will reward you with incredible relationships and opportunities far more than you can ever imagine!

My answer to “Will You Still Use Facebook If You’re No Longer In Business?”  I believe my answer is a resounding YES! How about you? Why and why not?

Do You Need A Coach, Consultant or A Course?

By Emma on November 8, 2010 4 Comments

I just came back from a truly powerful weekend at Mike Klingler’s Marketing Funnel Mastery.  Over 100 of my fellow marketers and entrepreneurs came together to build their own Marketing Funnels using Mike Klingler’s highly effective blueprint.

I was introduced to Marketing Funnel Mastery in June 2010 when I flew to Portland, OR.  It was so interesting to note that at that time, the Marketing Funnel I envisioned for myself was completely different from the funnel I am now working on.

IMG_0421

IMG_0449
IMG_0454

I loved seeing my friends – Mike Klingler, Lisa Holcomb, Jerry Chen, Ferny Ceballos, DiDi Alcheva, Leta Russell, Cindy Schulson, Jackie Ulmer, Kelly Baader, Richard Goutal, Cindy Murphy, Natasha Nassar, Rich Hazlett, Glenn Arcaro, Matty Miller, Eleni Liapikis and Jim Harris to name a few.

Why am I so excited to share about my own funnel?  It’s because I absolutely love being able to really make sense and utilize EVERYTHING I have learned and accumulated for the past 2 1/2 years from all the Coaches, Consultants and Courses I have invested in!  They fit so perfectly in the funnel and there are highly specialized skills and education I can now share with the entrepreneurs who I am blessed to be given the chance to mentor and teach.

This weekend, as I listened to over 20 people share with me their own Marketing Funnels  I started thinking more about the Whats, Whys and Hows on how they can:

1) Identify and monetize their passion.

2) Craft an effective Marketing Funnel.

3) Create a Powerful V.I.P. Brand to attract their perfect clients.

This sounds simple but it really is a process… a process that is taking others years to put together.

If you’re in the process of creating yours, how would you know if you need a business Coach, Consultant or Course?  Do you know the difference between a Coach and a Consultant?

Funny, I have always thought of myself as a Coach but realized early this year that I was really acting as a combination of Coach and Consultant.

What’s the difference between a Coach, Consultant and A Course?  In my simplest description and definition…

A Coach, encourages you to think, to come up with your own solutions based on your values and priorities and what really comes natural for you.  Yes, a Coach will encourage you to tap into your fullest potential without losing YOU in the equation.

A Consultant on the other hand, enables his/her clients to follow a proven step by step process that has produced successful results for others.  It’s a generic plan – a blueprint if you may – that will allow the client to incorporate their essence in the blueprint, then start implementing.

Then the less expensive route is a Course… and they come in many forms, print, video, audio, live events or a combination of one or more of them.  Some people sometimes call this a System.  If you’re an online marketer, you’ve probably purchased enough books courses in your search of how to grow the business,  that is enough to fill an entire 8 ft bookshelf like mine!

I spoke with a lot of people this weekend and some of them prefer to hire a Coach who will help pull out the creative genius inside of you, while some prefer to have a Consultant who will tell them exactly what to do, infusing your essence into the blueprint as necessary.

What was evident though was that most entrepreneurs I spoke with are tired of simply buying a course without any back-up training and support.

So my question to you is which of the “4 Cs For A Profitable Business” would you invest money in at this moment to help you grow your business? A Coach?  A Consultant? A Course?  A Combination of 1 or more?

If you answered a combination of one or more, I would like to check out

www.RelationalMarketingSecrets.com

As a Social Media and Video Marketing and Branding Coach and Consultant for the past 2 years, I realize the importance of combining the “4 Cs For A Profitable Business” and I am proud to say that I am having a 2-day LIVE Event at the Hilton Hotel LAX in Los Angeles on Dec. 4 and 5.

For 2 days straight,  I will be your Coach and Consultant who will teach you a success proven course on V.I.P. Branding for Visibility, Influence and Profitability and I will teach you to effectively integrate all the social media marketing strategies you’re already doing.

I do want to hear from you on what your take is on the “4Cs for a Profitable Business”.  Which do you prefer?

“You Are The Brand”, Is NOT About YOU!

By Emma on September 14, 2010 5 Comments
You Are NOT The Brand by Emma Tiebens

"It's Not About YOU"

It is so refreshing to somewhat be back from my brief hiatus. Well, I guess what seems brief to others seems like eternity to me!  Honestly, I felt rather detached when I couldn’t get online and couldn’t connect with and support my subscribers and friends.  It’s rather frustrating to see what’s going on, via my iPhone screen but not be able to respond to anyone due to time constraints.

During my self imposed break, I made a decision to utilize this time wisely and immersed myself in reading and listening to my favorite mentors on my iPod while I was packing our old home and unpacking into our new home – Dani Johnson, Joyce Meyer, Joel Bauer, Richard Greene, Mike Dillard, Tom Bell and re-read “Think And Grow Rich”, The Magic of Thinking Big”, 100 Secrets To Happiness, Never Give Up, Trust Agents.

As I listened to these wonderful mentors, there was a commonality in what they talk about which was:

“Increase your worth in the marketplace and the marketplace will pay for what you’re worth.”

How does one increase his/her worth?  Well, I know for a fact that after spending tens of thousands of dollars and countless hours, increasing ones value in the marketplace means investing in these 2 key things:  Personal, Mindset and Spiritual Development and SKILLS.

My good friend Jerry Chen just came up with an interview with Jairek Robbins and he gave me a distinct privilege to be able to ask Jairek a personal question and that was:

“With the limited time and resources beginner and somewhat advance entrepreneurs have these days, where would you say they should invest their available funds in – Personal Development or acquisition of SKILLS?”

My heart goes out to entrepreneurs who desperately want to learn and win in the online marketing game, yet found themselves very limited with time and money.  Ironically, whatever little money they have to invest is spent in products that they don’t necessarily need at the stage in their businesses they’re in – resulting in overwhelm and overload and not getting anywhere.

How do I know this? Because I’ve been there… done that…

Everyone talks about “You Are The Brand”… what does that really mean? Does this mean you’re now free to talk about you and brag about your achievements?  Does this mean you’re going to only  share things about you?  Does this mean it’s time to fluff your feathers and be the alpha bird you called yourself to be? Does this mean you’re just going to dominate the online world and make it all about YOU?

Absolutely NOT!

Here are 5 Ways On How To Effectively Use You As The Brand To Create Long Term And Loyal Advocates:

1) “You Are The Brand” is far from just talking about and putting the focus on you.  Your focus has to be to help and empower others, whether is through empowerment, encouragement or inspiration.

2) “You Are The Brand” – is about stories about other people that you share with others because it ties with the message you want to convey to them.

3) “You Are The Brand” – is the community you create of like minded people sharing the same value and together you are able to lift each other up and come up with ideas that will benefit the community as a whole.

4) “You Are The Brand” – is NOT about being known or known about something but positioning those connection and relationships to engage others and create a viable business.  With no business generation, it is not a real personal brand.

5) Last but not least, “You Are The Brand” is just a small piece of your marketing efforts.  You need to be able to back that up with your own product or service that will benefit even just a small group.   Having a “Marketing Funnel” which starts with your niche, your offering and your marketing flow is key.

If you need help with identifying your niche, I highly recommend Cindy Schulson’s “Dominate Your Niche” - this has helped me tremendously get clearer on my problem solution statement which has further helped me expand my brand to add value to a more targeted group of individuals.

Mike Klingler’s “Marketing Funnel Mastery” has helped me really understand that all my social media and marketing efforts were futile if I didn’t have a funnel that effectively ties together my brand, my product and my relationships with my subscribers and clients.

BTW, while I am thinking about it, many of you have been asking me where I am speaking LIVE next…I am proud to share that I will be one of the guest speakers at the Empowered Business Entrepreneurs Summit in Newport Beach on October 29/30, 2010 at the Ayers Hotel.  This even is hosted by Alicia Bausley and Lisa Hanfileti – two of the most incredibly talented and generous leaders I have ever met!  I would love to meet you in person and assist you in gaining more clarity in your marketing efforts at the stage you’re in… (if you’re serious and money – or the lack of it – is an issue, contact me and I will offer you my exclusive discount)

CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFORMATION ON THE EMPOWERED BUSINESS ENTREPRENEURS LIVE EVENT.

Please leave your comments and share with me how this post has made you think about the meaning of “You Are The Brand” and what you believe your brand is and if you haven’t identified your brand just yet, I would like to find out what you’re doing to take the necessary steps to identify your brand…

As always, I am here…

By Emma on June 29, 2010 10 Comments

What a whirlwind of a week it was for me! I missed writing to you!  What a treat it was to actually spend the past week with my friend DiDi Alcheva, Founder of Social Media Press.  She flew back to LA after being in Valencia, Spain for almost 2 months and I had the privilege of having her stay at our home.

Okay, here is a recap of the last 6 days! As you read this post, keep in mind these 3 Major VIP events, ALL HAPPENED IN 5 DAYS!  It was hectic but oh so worth it!

As soon as Didi landed in LAX, I she had to be picked up by our mutual friend, the ever so amazing Jerry Chen, Creator of Build A Magnetic Network.  He immediately took Didi to the Los Angeles Athletic Club where good friends and Mentors Jorge Bueno and MaryAnne Morcos who were hosting their first ever Business Codex Society Networking Mixer, where I was also the featured speaker and spoke about “How To Achieve V.I.P. Status Using the Emma 5″! Our amazing friends Louie and Jini Pinto, Founders of Wealth Summit Live gave their invaluable time and resources to make sure this event is a big hit!

DiDi and I got home around midnight and started packing for the Marketing Funnel Mastery LIVE Event in Portland, OR.  Our check in time at John Wayne Airport was 5:25 a.m. so needless to say, we had 2 hours of sleep!  When we arrived Portland, the Courtyard Marriott City Center was so gracious to allow us a really early check in so after we had light lunch in Downtown Pearl District, we took a 2-hour nap before attending Mike Klingler’s Welcome Cocktail Party!  What an amazing evening of connecting with people whom I’ve already met online! There is something about meeting online first and then meeting live and in person… there is already a silent bond!

Power Lunch at The Benson Hotel with Shannon, Emma, DiDi, Leta and Karen

The next 2 days were spent immersed in learning about how to master our own funnel – from what products to feature and how to market those products.  Mike Klingler did a phenomenal job teaching us step by step on how to finally create something and how the steps flow into the next.  It was also great to learn from Cindy Shulson, Barbara Silva and Kendall Silva.  Marketing Merge is at a hyper-speed growth! Mike shared a teeny glimpse on the future plans of MM at a very exclusive and posh barbeque that was privy to only 50 people!  The new headquarters on the 30th floor of the Ardea Bldg right on The Waterfront will make any entrepreneur green with envy! It was absolutely breathtaking!  The Marketing Merge Team truly did an amazing job organizing everything so kudos to Lisa Holcomb, Lindsey Holcomb and Rachel!

It was a wonderful ride back to Portland International Airport… a HUGE thank you to Thomas Germer who so generously offered to take my good friend, Celebrity Photographer and Entrepreneur, Moriah Diamond and I to the airport.  We ended up leaving at the same time though on different airlines so we had a chance to share some yummy Pinacoladas to toast to her planned 1 month vacation in the Big Island of Hawaii!

There you have it… 3 VIP Events in 5 days! As tiring as it seems, many joint venture partnerships have stemmed forth from it!

My question to you is, do you incorporate LIVE Celebrity Networking as part of your overall marketing strategy or do  you rely on online relationships?

If you already understand and are using LIVE networking as part of your overall marketing strategy, congratulations! I would love to hear how you’re doing it and how it has helped you with your business…

If you’re not, I would love to hear why not and if there’s a way I can help enlighten you on the benefits of live networking.

Investing In “YOU, Inc”… What’s On Your Christmas List?

By Emma on December 7, 2009 2 Comments

I looked at the calendar this morning and almost panicked! It’s 18 days before Christmas and truthfully, my Christmas cards haven’t been sent and I have not done one ounce of shopping! This is not normal for me because I normally have my Christmas cards ordered by September as I have been hand assembling them for the past 10 years. However, with 400 cards to send this year, hand assembling is not a possibility anymore…

Yes, I have many, many things I would love to buy for myself and my family this Christmas. This is normally the time when we splurge on ourselves, we make a list of what we really, really love to have – the things we can’t “live without” and this is when we sit down to plan the vacations we’ll be taking the next year.

Interestingly enough when my husband ask me what I wanted for Christmas this year, I was able to honestly say “Thanks Honey, but I don’t need anything…” Seriously, this is the first time ever when I was able to say that…

Oh please, don’t get me wrong… inside this empowered entrepreneur is still a “girly-girl” who likes nice things like a couple of nice Gucci and Louis Vuitton purses, a cashmere blanket, a Shamina shawl, the latest Ugg boots and let’s not even go to the latest gadgets in technology… possibly a brand new touch screen computer with the biggest memory and the faster processor available. Oh and did I say hiring an interior designer to re-decorate and re-paint our home? How about an appointment with a personal shopper at Neiman Marcus and leave with at least 3 great suits or outfits? And what about my annual make-over appointment at the Chanel counter for the latest in colors for the next 2 seasons? And what about my favorite sales reps at David Yurman and Tiffany jewelry whom I haven’t seen in a long time? Oh and that Oyster Perpetual Datejust Rolex or that Chopard watch with the dancing diamonds? A Tumi suitcase set, perhaps?

It’s so interesting that only a year or so ago, I have spent money on frivolous things and really enjoyed every minute of it! But for the past year, I have made a conscious choice to do one thing: TO INVEST IN MYSELF… By investing in myself, I know that I can go back to the things I love acquiring and what’s more is that I will able to continue to give more and continue to make a difference in people’s lives! I am proud to say that at a time when we didn’t have enough money, giving was something we never cut back on… it was a priority in our lives! Even our accountant couldn’t really understand that… We understand the Law Of Reaping and Sowing… if you want to be able to give huge amounts of money later, you need to start giving small amounts NOW!

So, I didn’t get any of those things I have mentioned which normally would have been on this year’s list. You’re probably wondering what took their place on my Christmas list? Well, here they are:

1) Joel Bauer’s Persuasion Power System: $2,997
2) Tracy Repchuk’s Millionaire Mastermind – $4,000
3) Coaching Cognition by Renegade Professional – $1,495
4) Jorge Bueno’s Funding Your Passion Business Codex – $397
5) New Macbook Pro +++ – $2,200
6) Internet Marketers’ Carribean Cruise – $2,000
7) Russell Brunson’s MicroContinuity – $ 600
8) Raymond Aaron’s Monthly Mentor – $2,600
TOTAL: $16,289

These expenses are just in the last few months… this doesn’t include the many trips and events I attended and the ongoing community memberships I have– Traffic Geyser, Braveheart Women, etc. Not to mention I already own practically all of Mike Dillard’s products and am an ongoing member of the Association of Better Networker.

So, what’s my point in all these? People come to me and ask me all the time – “Wow Emma, you’re so lucky… people and leaders are drawn to you… how do you do that?” Well, I guess the answer is simple: I CHOSE TO CONTINUE TO INVEST IN MYSELF because by doing so, I am investing in my business and it shows that I proactively take action. If you honestly believe that “You are the brand” (which I was so blessed to have learned from Mike Dillard early on), you will stop and think and make wise choices on how to spend your money. By investing in myself, I am investing in my long term success… the fancy stuff can wait because ultimately I will have them all! I just chose to delay instant gratification for long term gain!

Do you have to spend as much to get the same results? Absolutely not! We all are at different stages in our personal and business lives. Only you would know what your needs are.

The reality is that when you have limited resources, you need to be able to choose which ones will grow your brand and your business. If you noticed, I invested in Systems and Coaches… everyone needs a coach! A coach needs a coach… every successful person has a coach or a mentor.

If you don’t have one, find one quick! I happen to have a video sharing who my Mentors are and you’re all welcome to check all of them out! www.TheRelationalMarketer.com/Mentors

So now I ask you… what’s on your Christmas list?

Perhaps it’s time to re-think where you’ll spend your resources and invest in You, Inc. instead…

Cheering You On To Your Success!

Emma Tiebens

Happy Thanksgiving!  It’s 3:00 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day and I was awaken by an overwhelming sense of gratitude that I decided to write a Blogpost about it. Ironically, as I looked through my email,  I came across a video blog of one of my favorite and trusted industry leaders, Ann Sieg.

I’ve been very blessed to have met Ann Sieg and her awesome Executive Assistant Candace Hogan, when my good friend Jerry Chen scheduled their interview at our home.  What a real treat that was to spend an entire day with Ann, Candace and Jerry!  I can’t wait for you all to watch their interview – you will see a side of Ann Sieg you have never seen before!  Like Ann, I am a wife, mother and an entrepreneur whose passion is to empower entrepreneurs globally.  When I watched her video blog post earlier, I couldn’t help not share my thoughts as inspired by her message.

I thank Ann for her transparency and for her willingness in not only sharing her beliefs with the world but her passion in making sure that people are educated enough to enable them to exercise having choices!

Her heritage is so rich! Her great, great grandfather was imprisoned from exercising his beliefs which ultimately shaped what Ann has become today.  I admire her desire to honor the legacy of generations before her! After seeing her video, it has become clearer why her and her teachings have always resonated with my spirit!

Like Ann, my success is definitely not measured by money alone, however, I firmly believe that money enables us to do tons of good in the world! That’s the reason I do what I do to encourage, enlighten and empower entrepreneurs. Success for me boils down to this simple question which is the basis for why I founded “The Relational Marketer” – it’s the question: “Whose Life Is Now Better Because Of Yours”?

Everyday, I well up from an overwhelming gratitude to God who has been so good to me! Even if I don’t necessarily have EVERYTHING I have, the fact is I have more than enough! I have an amazingly loving and supportive family who encourages me to act upon opportunities to be, do and give more! I am grateful for the FREEDOM to have choices, to be in this country where opportunities abound! I am grateful for having access to amazing Mentors such as Joel Bauer, Mike Dillard, Ann Sieg, Mike Klingler, Dani Johnson,Tracy Repchuk which has now enabled me to have a platform to be able to help change many people’s lives in a global sense!

As a young girl in the Philippines, it was reading which has inspired me to realize that there is a bigger and abetter wolrd outside my little town… it was reading that has allowed me to see the infinite possibilities of what I can become. I support our public library here in Huntington Beach and part of my vision is to be able to put a public library in many small towns in the Philippines so that many children will be given the same opportunity about reading as I have!

The legacy I want to leave behind is simple… to have people I care most about – and those who choose to be mentored by me – all allocated for financially with income producing assets – including intellectual properties and businesses – that will encompass generations upon generations.

More importantly, I want to leave a legacy of encouraging them to have a personal relationship with God and His beloved son Jesus – who has plucked me out from a teeny tiny unheard of small town in the Philippines and elevates me to a leadership position that enables me to positively impact thousands of lives!  A legacy of helping people believe that they are called for a Higher Purpose and their lives mean more than what their minds can comprehend – I want to leave a legacy full of HOPE and LOVE!

What about you? What legacy will you leave behind?  What actions are you taking right this moment to make sure that your life does count for something?
