Is There A “Perfect” Internet Marketing System For Network Marketers?

By Emma on February 7, 2009 No Comments

If there was truly a way to create the perfect Internet Marketing System for Network  Marketers,  I  believe it has to have the following:

1)         Access to leads – generated or Organic, that is directed  to our pre-designed Capture Page that is high converting.

2)          Once they Opt In, we will get notified and we connect with them via:

a)      Thank You Page and Autoreponder with Bribe to Opt-In for More Information AND/OR

b)      Call them immediately and contact them using the techniques “Kirsh Kylebaum” teaches.  Depending on whether they already have an existing business or not, we offer them:

a)      Funded proposal system teaching them to become an Alpha Networker

b)      Get them signed up directly to our primary business.

3)          Once they get started, we teach them:

a)      How to become effective on the phone

b)      How to activate their own Lead Capture page and thank you page using templates.

c)      How to create and activate their personal Blog where they will have a choice of affiliate links and banners that will be automatically set up for them.  Also, a Training Page that includes video lessons, which are basically just an OVERVIEW of on :

1)      Getting a Domain Name

2)      Social media (Facebook, Twitter)

3)      Updating their Blog – content/photos

4)      Teach them how to link their company replicated site in the Blog

5)      How to set up a You Tube Account

6)      What is Pay Per Click and SEO

7)      Traffic Geyser

8)       Select from various affiliate links and banners

4)          They will have to choose on how they would like to build their business:

a)      Would they like to buy exclusive leads?

b)      Contact their friends and family – (in extreme and rare occasions;)

c)      Would they like to generate their own via:

1)      PPC or SEO

2)      Traffic Geyser

3)      Give them training on  how to call their prospects.

We will give them statistics on pros and cons of each system and depending on which of the 3 systems they choose to use, we will give them a cost breakdown how much each system would cost before hand so they can actually see what they are getting into.

5)          To build relationships with new people, create an exclusive and interactive site where they can get access to FAQs and upcoming webinars or teleseminars to keep team together…

Like I said, this is just my personal overview.

I believe that a detailed “How To” is good but if there is a system in place – capture page, thank you page, blog page – before hand, where the new person doesn’t have to learn how to actually create their own pages and blog and can just pay a sum to have it all done for them, this could be powerful and empowering!  This is where I believe people struggle most.  The only input we would need from them is the info they want on their personal info and the affiliate products they want to promote.

This perfect system will blend hi-tech and hi-touch and will help people get profitable sooner than most systems out there, via their own chosen biz ops or through affiliate marketing.

You Can Hope Again!

By Emma on February 7, 2009 No Comments

I am thrilled to be able to finally start my Blog! This is my Blog Page where I will be sharing my LIFE – personal, emotional, spiritual, financial. If you are reading or participating in my Blog, it is by no coincidence. Somehow, there is a lesson you could learn from here or you have something valuable to contribute into my life and the lives of those who seek wisdom, just as I do.

This initial post is specifically written from my Network Marketing or Relational Marketing friends out there. While I have been able to build a successful team in our organization using the traditional ways of building a network marketing business, I must admit that I am a newbie in Internet Marketing. Having majored in business I really thought that such education would be enough for me to succeed in any business of my choosing!

In 2002, I established Bella Gemma Jewelry and while it thrived, I felt lost and confused. When a good friend of mine introduced me to a Network Marketing opportunity, all I could think of was “no way – no network marketing for me!” Nevertheless, I was intrigued by friends who were succeeding at it so I figured, why not give it a shot. Looking back, being involved in this industry has been one of the best decisions I have ever made in my entire life! I always say: “Network marketing business is a simple business but not an easy business.” Once you get involved, prepare yourself for a constant evolution. I don’t even recognize my life now from where I was only 2 1/2 years ago!

I am writing this Blog with hopes that it will inspire otherswho – like most of us – struggle with jumping in head first…A good friend Marshall Sylver once said “fail, forward, fast”. Your indecision is a decision so just decide on doing something…Yes, there are distractions, obstacles and challenges that stop us from taking a step towards the right direction.

First why don’t we all go back to the basics and understand that there will be people who are going to be ahead of you – they will be ahead of you and have more toys, more knowledge, more gadgets, more influence, more beauty – more, more more! The key is to identify, what does YOUR success look for you and not look at other people’s successes. If you choose to look at other people’s successes and what they’re doing to achieve them, BELIEVE that you too could get to where they are if you keep on pressing on and just never give up. Winners never quit and quitters never win, as an old adage goes.

When things get a bit overwhelming and almost unattainable, that’s when we need to keep on telling ourselves: You can hope again! Remember, if you think you’re defeated, you’re right! Truly, it’s easier done than said…talk is cheap…faith without action is dead. Follow the leaders, do a little something everyday and realize that procrastination never got anyone anywhere…live a life by design and not by default!

If you have any suggestions on time management, books to read, websites to visit, and strategies to implement in it’s simplest terms, we just might be able to “connect the dots” and find the missing link from where we are to where we want to be!

First, let’s go back to the basics and ask yourself…where are you headed? What do you believe is your ultimate purpose in life and how does that tie in with everything that you are doing in your life right now and what disciplines are you implementing to get as close to your target as possible?

Opinions Or Convictions…What Are You Made Of?

By Emma on February 7, 2009 No Comments

A new year…a fresh start…new resolutions…new hope… The question is, how long will it take for us to rejoice in this cyclical yet renewed optimism? Perhaps one month, two, maybe three months before we go back to what’s comfortable and familiar? So, the million dollar question is this…HOW DO YOU PLAN TO RENEW YOURSELF FOR THE NEW YEAR? 360 days from now, how are you going to be different?

At church this morning, I couldn’t help take down notes… our beloved Senior Pastor Dan Deghi shared some incredibly insightful words of wisdom that I know will resonate with everyone both believers and non-believers. He said 3 NEW things that will be for certain in 2009 are this:

• New Pressures
• New Problems
• New Possibilities

To progress, change is necessary and one’s openness and willingness to change are a must! As successful people would say “If you keep on doing the same things you’ve done, you’ll keep on getting the same things you’ve gotten”.

The great news is that new pressures and problems cause new possibilities to stem forth! These very certainties are here to ultimately build character – as one responds to these with the right mind and heart, they will build 3 things:

• Conviction
• Creativity
• Courage

Where are you lacking? Is it conviction, creativity or courage? The winds of life will always flow to the direction it needs to go and while you can’t control the direction of the wind, YOUR ATTITUDES CAN CONTROL THE DIRECTION OF YOUR SAIL! This year, make it a point to stand for something of significance…how can you shine if you are comfortable hiding in the dark? How can you enlighten another person’s life by keeping your light to yourself? Are you happy with how your Year 2008 was? Were you happy with your harvest? FYI, your harvest is a direct result of what you planted – the universal Law of Reaping and Sowing.

A great question to ask yourself now is “WHAT DO YOU PLAN TO HARVEST IN 2009?” Once you answer that question, you will know exactly what seeds you need to be planting now! You want to see the same results? Do the same exact thing you did in 2008? You want to see a different result? Turn the TV off, write down your goals – with “accomplished by” dates on them of course – identify your convictions, take a leap of faith and believe that this year will be different!

And oh, don’t mistake opinion with conviction – there are already plenty of opinions out there that will confuse you and cause you to not plow that ground and plant the seed! How would you know the difference between opinion and conviction? “YOU WILL ARGUE FOR AN OPINION BUT YOU’LL BE WILLING TO DIE FOR YOUR CONVICTION!” There is a big difference… If you don’t stand up for something you will fall for anything!

What are you made of? Opinions or Convictions? Please share! You never know who’s life would be greatly impacted by them! It could very well be your own.

About Emma

By Emma on February 7, 2009 No Comments

I was an immigrant from Manila, Philippines who came to this “land of the free” in 1989. Prior to coming to the US, I graduated with a degree in Business from the University of Santo Tomas and I worked behind the scenes in the movie industry for Viva Films, Inc. In my 19 years in the US, I have been a Banker, an International Flight Attendant, a student of Certified Financial Planning and a Jewelry Designer/Business Owner. I acquired Certified Financial Planning undergraduate studies from University of California, Irvine as well as an Associate Jewelry Professional Certificate from the Gemolocial Insitute of America.

In 1995, I met my “Rock of Gibraltar”, my husband Gary Tiebens and after trying for years, God has finally blessed us with our “miracle child” Garrett! When he was born in 2002 I started re-analyzing my priorities. Four pregnancies and one child later, I had made a decision to leave United Airlines and re-direct my life to have more time with my family. When Garrett turned 2, I began to realize that I was called to do more in the marketplace. The two interests most predominant interests I had then were designing and creating jewelry and encouraging and mentoring people to believe in themselves! In 2002, I took at shot at becoming an entrepreneur, invested over $100,000 into Bella Gemma Jewelry and while it has become a successful brand among brides in Orange County, CA, my life was at a tailspin! I started to not have the time freedom and neglected the very reason I wanted to be successful – my family!

In 2006, I was introduced by a good friend to a network marketing opportunity and since I have always felt that there is no future in those types of business, something told me that this is where I will find true success. However, I was clueless! I didn’t know how to grow a network marketing business. I have always believed in the power of leverage and was a consumer for many network companies in the past 18 years – Quixtar, USANA, Arbonne, The Tax People, Cookie Lee- even the no-run pantyhose! I never thought in my wildest dreams that I would ever succeed as a promoter in this industry!

Fast forward 2 1/2 years later, our personal organization has now grown to over 6,000 people! Now more than ever, I am passionate about mentoring those who have a big vision on why this model works. Now, with the introduction of strategies and systems that focus on how to become a “magnetic sponsor” and learn and teach “relational marketing” via social media my excitement is at an all time high! During uncertain economic times such as we have now, one industry always rises to the top – the Network/Relational Marketing industry. It gives me great joy to see people transition from chaos to clarity. In this day and age where there is a lot of ground noise and fluff, I offer direction and access to sound and proven success principles from all the people whose paths I chose to follow.

Network Marketing is a simple business but it’s by no means easy! One has to really educate themselves, veer away from a mentality of lack and desperation. I am grateful for the mentors God has directed my way – Brig Hart, Steve Merritt, Tom and Suzanne Markosky, Mike Dillard, Raymond Fong, Ferny Ceballos, Dani Johnson, Pastor Rick Warren, Joyce Meyer and Pastor Bruce Templeton. I pray for them daily! I am grateful for my team and I dedicate my success to them! The past 2 1/2 years has become a time of new beginnings for me and for the people whose lives I am so blessed to be part of. The Network Makreting Industry will continue to bring HOPE to the many. I am so priveleged to be in this industry and after years of searching for my “true purpose” in life, I am happy to say that through Network Marketing and my Monavie family, I have finally found it!

I would love to help bring HOPE into your lives if you’ll allow me…believe in the possibilities! IT’S EASIER DONE THAN SAID!

Traffic Geyser…Conquering Fear Of The Camera…Sharing My Vision

By Emma on February 7, 2009 5 Comments

“>

January 27, 2009 is a milestone day for me because of 2 things. One, it’s my husband Gary’s 50th birthday and two, this is the day when I conquered my fear of not sounding perfect in front of the camera! Here’s a video that I hope will inspire those who are afraid to move forward because of fear.

I would love to hear your comments and I’d appreciate it if you could take a few moments to say “hello” and let me know how this post inspired you!

Twas The Night Before Christmas… For Network Marketers

By Emma on February 7, 2009 No Comments

Twas The Night Before Christmas
(for Network Marketers)

by Emma Tiebens

Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, except my computer’s mouse.
News of recession has prompted me to care ,
For people in the network marketing industry hurting everywhere.

The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
How to reach out to many kept dancing in my head.
As my family snored, I donned my thinking cap,
Wouldn’t even consider for a moment to take a winter’s nap.

When into my Inbox arose such a clatter,
Propped myself on the bed to see what was the matter.
Invitations to connect came in like a flash,
I honestly thought my computer would crash!

I didn’t even notice the fresh-fallen snow
Was so busy sending lots of “hello”
To new and unexpected leads which appeared,
Out of nowhere, from people both new and endeared.

My God-given brain started processing quick,
So many strategies out there, which one should I pick?
Everyone claims theirs is the best.
I need to know what really works that stands above the rest!!

In the past I’ve toyed with the leads that you buy,
With hopes that they’d bring me my pie in the sky.
So daily I called at least one hundred and two,
Spoke with ten, but the rest I couldn’t get through.

“Now Dillard! Now, Belcher! Now, Reese and now Kern!
On, Ceballos! On, Fong! On Yaghi and Bell!
Worked together to change the course of us all
By sharing their “secrets” they helped us not to fall!

And then, in a twinkling, I’m no longer aloof
As how to be magnetic is far from fool proof
There are hurdles to overcome to turn things around
Good thing we have access to leaders who abound.

I mustered my strength and stepped out with one foot,
Web 2.0 and capture pages, new knowledge took root.
Though I got some responses, I was taken aback,
My page wasn’t converting, a skill I definitely lacked.

Someone did tell me that blogging would carry,
The weight of generating organic leads in a hurry!
Signed up for WordPress my first article I sowed,
Not really understanding how everything flowed.

Then the social media craze made me clench my teeth,
Wrote updates and comments as often as I breathe.
With My Space, Twitter, Facebook, I put down the telly ,
But source info and split testing were a tad hard to tally!

Through all these I realized how vital is oneself,
In giving without want, being of service and of help
Inspiring, encouraging on what lies ahead
Soon gave me the courage I had nothing to dread.

With mentors I was blessed with I went straight to work,
Focused on one or two strategies that brought the most perk.
Identifying true divine purpose helped overcome my woes
From having no following, my numbers arose!

I jumped on the wagon then gave the team a whistle,
And while things are uncertain, my confidence has settled.
Now more than ever on this very special night,
“Happy Christmas to all…let’s put up a good fight!”

(an adaptation from Twas A Night Before Christmas A Poem by Clement Clarke Moore)

Why Social Media? Mike Dillard and Perry Belcher Rocks!

By Emma on February 7, 2009 No Comments

It’s Saturday afternoon – my son Garrett and hubby Gary are having an easy day for a change. Other than assembling Garrett’s new filing cabinet for his room and choosing photos for his “Starring Student” board, we just hung out and watched the movie “Twister”. It’s the umpteenth time I’ve seen the movie but I noticed something that I didn’t notice the first time I saw it. It wasn’t about the tornado themselves…it was about Aunt Meg. Aunt Meg was well loved because she showed genuine interest and caring for those tornado chasers. She cooked for them, offered them a place to stay and just always give them a jolly good time! When it was her turn to suffer from the tornado, it was the very same guys who rescued her and her dog from being crushed by her own home!

Social media is so much like what Aunt Meg has shown. Like Mike Dillard always says “Dig A Well Before You’re Thirsty”. It’s about giving information, being helpful and setting yourself apart as someone dependable, trustworthy and is worth “following”. Last night, I listened for the first time to Mike Dillard’s and Perry Belcher’s recorded webinar on Social Media Secrets. I am amazed at the hearts of these two men and what great chemistry they had! I was on my desk laughing with them at 1:00am! I’m surprised I didn’t wake my family up!

I learned sooo much from what they had to share and normally I would have already transcribed my notes to share but I would have to wait for when I can get their approval to write about it. I realized that some of the info they shared there are proprietary and I will respect that. To think that I almost didn’t get on their class list! God is amazingly good and his timing is always perfect! Everyday, I pray for valuable resources of people, wisdom and time and He continues to answer my prayers!

I have always been told that I am a “relationship queen” – I love encouraging and empowering people! There is no greater joy for me than to see someone blossom and shine to their fullest potential! As a Flight Attendant, I looked forward most to “jumpseat therapy” more than the destinations. I love connecting with people! When I owned my jewelry business, I found more joy in making new friends than the acutal monetary rewards itself. When I was introduced to Network Marketing 3 years ago, I thrived not because of the company and the product but because of the RELATIONSHIPS I formed through the business. People have always told me – you are going to do great in this business, you’re a natural sales person or you are a great people person. While I believed that, those didn’t really help me achieve the success that I envisioned to attain. I sucked at prospecting and have always wondered why. When I was introduced to social media, I excitedly told my husband about it but his immediate response was, how can such an impersonal medium create a personal relationship with people? That was the thought that lingered in my head until last night. After listening to Mike and Perry that I finally realized that there is a way to connect the dots!

I know there are a few people who subscribed to Mike and Perry’s series and I am also certain that all of us have varied take aways. However, if I may share some of my main take away and epiphanies, here they are:

* Two way communication will rule and social media allows you to communicate not just with one or two people but hundreds if not thousands at a time!

* For my business to succeed, I need influencers, not the sneezers! I need to surround myself with people who are keeping up with the times and not those who choose to continue to stay inside the box!

* I have a renewed respect for Facebook and Twitter – I look at the people in my circle of influence in FB and Twitter as my friends so I am free to be myself! I just need to always be sharing something positive (no negativity allowed) – there’s enough of that in the news.

* This is a biggie! When you’re sharing, ask yourself, what are you going to share from the heart? People will see through phony-ness!

* The biggest lesson I learned is this: Social media works if people learn to respect other people. Again, the “golden rule” – no in-your-face slimy sales approaches! That’s not meant for social media! So, I am taking this time to APOLOGIZE if I have innocently done that in-your-face-slimy-sales pitch in some of my previous posts. Ignorance excuses no one but please accept my apologies of a newbie…

* Last but not least – I coined an acronym of what one needs to BE to make the best of your social media experience. I call it S.E.R.V.I.C.E. if you’re going to start posting, you need to BE:

S – Sincere
E – Excited
R – Relatable
V – Valuable
I – Interesting
C – Considerate
E – Entertaining

So there you have it! If there are any of you out there who are part of this series, please feel free to share your comments!

Relentless for a LOVE Revolution

By Emma on February 7, 2009 No Comments

(Here is an article I wrote in October 2005 for my old Blog.  I thought it was worth sharing….)

Have you ever experienced a “fire in your belly”?  You know, a revelation that is so much more than just an “aha” moment?

Well this weekend, God spoke loud and clear to me and created that incredible fire which I have never experienced before!

Three years ago, my focus was business, family then God.  After meeting Dani Johnson, I changed my priorities to God, family then business.  Since then, my family has experienced a major transformation!  We knew that God  is calling us for something greater and is educating us at warp speed!  Something that’s beyond what we can see!

Being new Christians, we pray to always seek God’s wisdom and to strengthen our faith that when information comes our way, that we will be able to discern if they are information God wants us to hear.

God has led me to my very first Joyce Meyer Conference in St. Louis, MO this weekend of Oct. 2-4, 2008.  A big blessing and thank you to my best friend Diane Barrett for always standing along side with me in my search for wisdom.  I am beyond grateful to my husband Gary, son Garrett and Mom Elena for always supporting where God is leading me to.  God has sent us a lady named Susie Vanker from Michigan whom Diane and I met on the plane on our way to Orlando, FL.  It was through her that we knew of Joyce Meyer’s conference!  Through her, we met our most amazing Sisters In Christ this weekend – wonderful ladies from Michigan and Chicago – Tonya, Sandra, Donica, Joanne, Liz and Aggy.

Shortly, I will be sharing my notes as I always do.  Meanwhile, I am still here at the Hampton Inn in downtown St. Louis, and I couldn’t resist writing about it.  It’s as if my hands are being led to share this weekend’s experience.

Prior to this weekend’s experience, I have many questions about WHAT CAN WE DO TO SHARE HOPE IN GOD TO HIS PEOPLE?  What could I possibly do to even make a difference in the world and our current econmic and spiritual crisis?  I have always felt that I there is nothing I could possibly do since the situation is so confusing and beyond my comprehension.  I didn’t know where to start…

This weekend opened my heart, my eyes and my mind!  Prepare for my relentless pursuit of a LOVE Revolution!  I will be honored to have you pursue this with me!
